1954 Jaguar XK 120 roadster, first introduced at the 1948 Earle’s Court Motor Show as a concept car. In it’s day the XK-120 was the fastest production car in the world. The first couple of hundred cars were produced with an aluminum body and with a steel body thereafter. This was the first Jaguar sports car produced since the famous SS-100 of the thirties, and was continued through the years with improvements as an XK 140 and 150. The 120 signified the estimated top speed of the car,produced by the 160 HP six cylinder, double overhead camshaft engine.
